More Wins for Timberwise at the 2024 PCA Best Practice Awards

Everyone at Timberwise is proud of the fact that we hold a membership within the PCA, which is why we are so excited to announce that Timberwise and its team took home two separate 2024 PCA Best Practise Awards this year; One for the Certificated Surveyor in Timber and Dampness in Buildings, and one for being Highly Commended in the Training and Development category.
Carl Austin: Winner of the Certificated Surveyor in Timber and Dampness in Buildings Award

One of our own, Carl Austin, was recognised by the PCA for all of his hard work within the property care sector, and was presented with the Certificated Surveyor in Timber and Dampness in Buildings Award.
Those who know Carl, and especially those who have had the opportunity to work with Carl before might not be too surprised by the news Carl had picked up the award. Carl is an amazing part of the Timberwise team, and this award is another sign of Carl’s commitment to delivering outstanding solutions for all of our customers.
Carl’s journey here at Timberwise has been one full of praise for his skills and versatility, with Operations Director Kenny Lavery having this to say on Carl’s win: ‘We are extremely proud of Carl Austin for winning the CSTDB surveyor of the year award at the recent PCA awards ceremony , Carl’s commitment to his own learning and development is second to none and he consistently delivers excellence in all aspects of his role … Well done Carl!’
Carl himself had this to say on his achievement: ‘To stand out and be recognised, amongst the best in the industry, is a fantastic personal achievement for me.
A massive thank you to all my friends and colleagues at Timberwise for not only the exceptional training and guidance but also for the support, encouragement and belief they offered throughout the examination process. Likewise I would like to thank the PCA staff for the excellent training I received and for a fantastic evening celebrating.’

Timberwise: Highly Commended for Training and Staff Development

What do These PCA Best Practise Awards Mean to Us?
Winning an award isn’t our intention when we think about how we conduct our business, but to be recognised by the PCA is very special.
The PCA is the governing association of the property care industry in the UK, an organisation we are proud to be a part of.
